30 day Challenge - Day 8

Day 8 - A place you have traveled.

My favorite place that I have traveled would have to be Disney World. I loved it. I had turned 15 two months before I went but the moment I walked into the park...I turned 5! It was the most wonderful feeling! I can't wait to go back!

30 Day Blog Challenge - Day 7

Day 7 - Favorite Movies

My all time favorite movie is Casablanca. It is the best love story in the world. The passion and the suspence and the heart break and the OMG! Yeah!

My second favorite movie would have to be The Rocky Horror Picture Show! I know every single word and no matter how many times I see it, I can always watch it again.

All other movies are good, but these I could watch at anytime, in any mood!

30 Day Challenge - Day

Day 6-A picture of something that makes you happy

Well that would be easy...the picture is any picture that contains Christopher Jr., Jacob Cole, and Joshua Joseph! My family makes me happy. It is the only thing that keeps me going in life. They are the reason I wake up in the morning and the reason I breathe! They make my heart jump and take my breathe away. When I am around them I just want to stop whatever I am doing and stair at them and cry because I am so blessed to have them and for God to have chosen me to be the one to take care of them.

30 Day Blog Challenge - Day 5

Day 5-Your siblings
Tracy Lynn Pitre Guidry is my only sibling! She is married to Jason Paul Guidry since 2002, and has two of the cutest kids (besides mine) that God could ever create! Jaselyn Michelle is going to be 8 on the 15 of this month...well on Wednesday, and Joesph Michael will be 6 on January 6. My sister is always going to be my BIG sister no matter how much taller I become than her! Right now I am about 40lbs and 6 inches bigger than her, but she will always be my big sister! I love her so much! We have had our moments, thought out the years growing up, but I think now, we are just best friends! I wouldn't be who I am without her!

30 Day Challenge - Day 4

Day 4-Your parents
Dick and Debbie Pitre. What could I not say about my parents! Oh man I can be here all night...so Ill just summerize!

Dick Pitre was born in New Orleans in July of 1954. The 3rd son out of 9 kids for my grandma and grandpa Pitre. He lived in Luling until he turned l7 and then traveled around the country until he turned 18 in Wisconson and joined the Army. He went to Germany where he spend time until he came home for leave and went to a Watson wedding, where he saw...from across the room....Deborah Watson! Younger sister of the man getting married! Dick had grew up with Debbie, he remembered her from school. He walked up to Jimmy Watson and said...I am going to marry your sister. Naturally my uncle said "Over my dead body!"

Deborah Waston was born in New Orleans and lived in Luling and Mississippi. She was the oldest girl of 9 kids for my grandma and grandpa Watson. She grew up in the local church and helped raise her younger brothers and sisters as well as being an excelled student. Fresh out of high school she got engaged to a boyfriend (man I forget his name, not that it is important anyways!)

Little did Dick know that Debbie was engaged to be married to another man. But he was weird, so Dad interviened a little bit and before he left he became Debbie's penpal! For 9 months they wrote to each other as he returned to Germany. Upon his arrival back to the states, ending his term in the millitary, he came back to Luling and married Debbie!

A couple years later my sister was born, three or four years later Dad got a job in Tennessee where my grandparents (Watsons) moved to, and they moved. I was born in Tennessee and then when I was about one, we moved back to St. Charles Parish, enjoying their grandbabies; where we have been ever since!

30 Day Blog Challenge - Day 3

Day 3-Your first love (or "Your spouse")
Well my spouse to be was not my first love but I hope he will be my last! Joshua and I have known eachother since we were about six years old. He says he used to like me when we were little, but he never told me. I thought he was cute but he was younger than me, plus a good friend was in love with him so I never thought anything of it. We saw each other every summer until I went to high school. We didn't see eachother much in high school or after high school until ONE NIGHT!

It had been about 5 months since my ex husband left and I was out at a bar with friends listening to a band. HE WALKED IN and i freaked out...Kinda like one of those Love at first sight things, but more like Love at 1,000,000 sight! I got all light headed and my friend Ashley told me I looked funny. I couldn't stop stairing at him all night, it was crazy. I tryed to be cool and ask him for his number (just as a friend) but as he later explained...he knew I liked him....cause he could feel someone stairing a hole in the back of his head! haha!

It has been a year, 7 months, and 3 weeks since then and now we are going to spend the rest of our lives together. This fall he asked me to be his wife, and Cj and Jacob to be his step-kids! And the rest is history!

30 Day Blog Challenge - Day One

Day 1-Introduce, recent picture, 15 interesting facts
Hello everyone out there in cyberspace! My name is Dwan Elizabeth Pitre (Originally Pitre, Used to be Switzer, back Pitre again, soon to be Veillon)! I am a 26 year old, single mother of two boys, engaged to a gorgous man who adores me!

Recent picture of me:

15 interesting facts about me: ( I guess they mean things I think are interesting about myself, ok well sorry guys if you don't think they are interesting!)

1. I grew up having a crush on my best friend. For 8 years I had a crush on my best friend and never told him anything! (Until I got drunk one night in 2004 and called him) We havn't spoken much since. Just a nice hello how are you and how have you been text for our birthdays kinda thing. But I do not regret telling him because I never have to worry about "What If?"

2. I have never EVER smoked Weed! Yes I know....there are not many of us out there who never tryed it. Oh believe me...it was out there for me to try...I even rolled a few for friends who thought I was good at the technique! But I never ever smoked it! I never wanted to. I don't know if it was the horror stories my dad used to tell me when I was younger about when he was younger, or what but YES I NEVER TRIED WEED!

3. I don't like to drink. Yes I have been drunk, but I have found that I have to force myself to drink it. Once I get started is a different story! But I have much more fun without any alcohol in my system than when I drink. Drinking makes me sleepy! Yes I get that gene from my mother! I don't like the taste of alcohol, even though when mixed with the right things, I have been known to tollerate the taste! So there that makes me feel better!

4. I do not regret, in the least bit, getting married the first time. If I had to go back and do it all over again, I would do nothing different. It might mess up where I am right now. I am proud of what I have learned and survived. I am proud of the two wonderful boys that came out of it. And I learned that love is not something you guess at or try to control. I am glad that Chris and I are friends now and hope that we can continue to be friends. We are both proud of eachother and our accomplishments and where our lives are taking us. So no I would not change my past!

5. I am a public information assistant for St. Charles Parish. I have the coolest boss in the world. I am scared if she ever desides to do something better with her life, cause if someone comes in to take her position and they start changing stuff I am going to have to find me a new position also! I am part of the Public Information Office for the parish. It consists of me and my boss! We are in charge of the government access channel 6! We update and maintain the parish website, keep people informed of different things going on in the parish, and take pictures and film events that happen in the parish. I am the assistant producer of St. Charles Parish Today! A local talk show that takes you behind the scenes of local govenment! I am also the "on location" girl! Reporter for the show! I work with amazing people and really enjoy my work.

6. I secretly with I was a stay at home mom. Ok well to most of my friends and family that isn't much of a secret. It saddens me that my parents got to watch my boys grow up and that I missed most of their firsts. But if I have to work I wouldn't want to be doing anything else that what I am doing. And one day when I win the lotto or Josh makes millions, then my wish will come true, but for now I am glad I only work 40 hours a week so that I do get the time that I do have with them.

7. For those who havn't seen me lately....this is my natural hair color! Yes that is right! Thanks to Allie, we have found it! After a 12 year search....we have found my roots and now my entire head of hair is the same color. I havn't died my hair in 9 months! Yes I am proud...it is kind of an AA thing! haha!

8. My big sister is shorter than me. For those of you who don't know me that well...yes my big (older) sister is 31 and she is 5ft. I am 26 and 5ft 6ins! She used to be bigger than me until the summer before I turned 13! Bam! Teenager shoots up 3 inches in 3 months!

9. I am addicted to RITZ crackers! I can't help it! They are like pringles...once you pop you can't stop....I believe they have crack in them!

10. I like to stair at Josh when he sleeps! Oh if he knew that he would freak! Haha! He just works so hard for us and I think it is beautiful when he finally gets peace!

11. I want one more kid! Ok I would love to be pregnant like 5 more times but I know Josh would never go for that, so we are going to wait like 4 more years but hopefully we can get our girl! I love being pregnant!

12. I am still best friends with my first best friend. I almost couldn't say this statement 8 months ago, but I am proud to say it now! I have been best friends, on and off (ahaha) with Erin Dugas for almost 22 years! WOW! I love her!

13. If I keep the job I have now I will retire with full benefits when I am 52 years old! What What....then we will travel with LSU and get a RV! That is the plan!

14. Every morning I wake up and walk into my boys' room, and get to fall inlove with them all over again! I am the luckest woman in the whole world. Everyday! Every single day! Woohoo!

15. I am really going to try and not miss a day of this blog challenge, but I have to confess i will have to put reminders in my calender on my phone so I don't forget....man I am a busy mom! But I have a wonderful life and love every minute of it! And I owe it all to the last info about me! GOD is the best thing that could have ever happened to me. And he can happen to anyone if they just believe in him. AMEN!

The Day Before Thanksgiving!

On December 1st I will start the 30 day blog challenge! I think it would be a good way to end 2010! As for now I just want to let everyone know what I am thankful for!

In the 26 years of my life I can not be more thankful for having God in my life. My relationship with Him has been the most important relationship a life could ever have. If it were not for our relationship, then all the other relationships in my life would not exist; or if they would, the wouldn't mean anything. God has blessed me with a wonderful and adventurous life. I love everyday I have.

God has placed two of the most wonderful people as my parents. He trusted them to raise me and nurture me and I think he did a perfect job! I could not ask for more wonderful people to be my parents. I am so proud to be their daughter.

My best friend in the whole world, just so happens to be my sister! Tracy and I have loved and hated each other for 26 years and I am so happy I have her in my life. Now with the addition of a brother, Jason, who is the best brother in the world. So much that mom and dad could have popped him out themselves. He is a perfect match for my sister and our family. My niece and nephew are a bless from God. Jaselyn and Joe are two of the most beautiful creatures that ever walked the planet! (haha) With them in my life, there is never a dull moment.

God has brought a special man into my life that I do not think I'll ever deserve. Funny how God brings people into your life when you are 6 and you have no idea they will be the one to spend the rest of your life with. But that is what happened! I am so thankful to wake up every morning next to this beautiful man and fall asleep in his arms every night. And in 10 months 28 days 23 hours and 15 minutes I will be Mrs. Joshua Veillon for the rest of my life!

CJ and Jacob are the icing on the cake if I were making the cake of a perfect life. Nothing in the world would be right in my life if I didn't not have them. Plans for future children are on...but they will be about 5 years from now! Josh and I want to enjoy being married and find a bigger house before we have a little Veillon!

As for now I enjoy every second of my life, my family, my job, and my faith. God continues to bless me and I have no idea why. But I promise it will not be wasted blessings! Peace!

November...OMG I'm 26!

So it is now fall and I am loving the cooler weather. What I am not liking is the sickness that has entered my household and will not leave. Josh started with a cold cause they just put him working at Lakeside Tulane Hospital....he is sick for a week. Then by the end of the weekend he is feeling better, but the boys come back from their dads with runny noses and he kisses all over them and get Bronchitis. He gets better and the boys get sicker....then last week I started with the FLU....was sick for my birthday weekend. (So we have to celebrate it this weekend!) Now I have pink eye and this cough that will not go away. UGH!

On a better note...we got a picture of our Christmas Present from Santa last week! Isn't he the cutest! Edsel Jo! He will be Josh's baby! Even though he said in the beginning he didn't want a dog!

As the Holiday season approaches, I can't wait to be with my family! We already have our tree up and Thanksgiving weekend we will put the lights up outside! I love Christmas! I need to go get the boys their stockings!

Josh and I are going the day after Thanksgiving to get all the presents we are going to need for Christmas! I can't wait to get that over with! Even though I have to get Jaselyn something for her birthday! She is going to be 8! I can't believe it! 8! 8! It is crazy...I remember seeing her on the ultrasound machine like it was yesterday! Nanny is sooooo proud of her!

Only 11 months til the wedding and I can't wait. Mom and I are ordering THE DRESS this weekend! I have like three I picked out so I just have to make the pick!

Soccer is officially over. I am gunna miss those little buggars! Those kids were awesome and they learned so much! I wish I could have the same team next year! Well who knows! Now to focus on PAWS!

HEY PEEPS GIVE ME SOME STUFF TO TALK ABOUT!

October is here!

So it is now October and the engagement party is a week away and I have no idea how it will all come together. But Gabbie and I will figure it out, we always do! Besides it isn't about the party it is about the people who have chosen to celebrate this wonderful time with us!

We have decided to get the boys a puppy for Christmas...so shhhhh don't tell! EVEN THOUGH WE ARE PICKING OUT NAMES ALREADY...the think that they have to be good or Santa will not bring them a puppy!

Well this one is short but I'll try to write more often! Woohoo

I have a BLOG!

So I see everyone has a blog these days. So I figured maybe, since I have alot going on in my life right now, I should create a blog! And so... here it is!

So most of this stuff is going to be about the wedding and the boys, maybe the house and a bit of work to go along with it. I will try to keep it interesting or at the least try to not put you to sleep.

So we are about to enter the month of October 2010! Wow 2010! It makes me feel old! I remember sitting in my room with Kimberly in 1999 listening to the NSYNC top 100 new years countdown, waiting for 2000! And now, ten years later, we are fine!

October is going to be a busy month for us! This weekend we are going to Mississippi for the Evan's Family Reunion...( I should have a lot to write about that when we get back). Then the next weekend is Josh's 25th birthday on the 9th. On the 10th we are taking our Engagement Pictures! The weekend after that Gabbie and I are going to be shopping and getting ready for the party. On the 23rd is the Engagement Party! Ahhhh!  Then the next weekend is Halloween. Done...there went October!

In November is my birthday....26....omg! Where did the 20s go....oh yeah Two kids and a divorce and then another wedding...yep...that will do it!

The December is Jaselyn's 8th Birthday and Christmas and then Joe turns 6 in January! There goes all my money!

Well that is about it for the first blog post! How often are you supose to write in this? It is like a diary that every gets to read so you should write daily? Weekly? Biweekly? When ever you feel like it? When ever CJ or Jacob do something funny?

Oh well we shall see how it goes! Woohoo I have a Blog!
